The concert will feature various local talent including pianists Jeanna Taylor & her student Laura Paul; harpist, Julie Fitzpatrick; vocalist Lauricia and classical guitarist Ewan Dobson. These talented people will be performing classical pieces from many great composers throughout time from Bach and Paganini to Cicoria and even locally known Kavanagh! This diverse lineup of talent will definitely be pleasant for a wide array of listeners and you will not want to miss this concert!

The Refugee and Immigrant Advisory Council is a charitable organization that assists newcomers to Canada and St. John’s. We don’t try to integrate newcomers, but rather give them the tools they need to participate in the community to the best of their abilities. We also provide information to the general public about the challenges many newcomers face, in order to make our city a more welcoming place that is better-equipped to interact with people from diverse origins and circumstances.

Jose Rivera (RIAC’s Executive Director) can be reached for ticket sales, donations and general inquiries/questions via e-mail at events@riac.ca or phone 709-754-4122
